Japanese calligraphy Experience「Let’s try Writing your name」
こんにちは。鎌倉市長谷の書道教室・書家 篠原遙己（しのはらようこ）です。
突然の英語タイトルですが、外国人向けの書道ワークショップの講師をやらせて頂くことになりました！
英語は苦手なのですが通訳さんがついてくださるので安心です。
外国の方のお名前を漢字表記にして筆で葉書に書くワークショップです。
手漉きの和紙を使用した葉書で、書いたものはお持ち帰りいただけます。
もし周りに海外のお友達やお知り合いがいらっしゃったら、お声掛けして下さると嬉しいです。

Shodo is an Eastern figurative art of expressing the beauty of writing.
You can learn how to write your name in Kanji (Chinese character) with a calligraphy brush and ink.

Workshop Program（プログラム）
※ There is a Japanese-English translator who can assist your valuable time of learning.
・Introduction: What is Shodo? Find out how Shodo is related with Japanese people.
・Lesson：Learn how to use calligraphy brushes and ink.
・Practice : Learn how to write on actual Shodo papers.
※ Shodo paper: a 35 by 25cm sheet of plain paper made especially for calligraphy.
・Perform : Make your own artwork of writing. Please take your artwork home with you.

Yoko Shinohara
講師は、書道歴35年の篠原遙己先生です。
A 35-year-long experienced Shodo Master Yoko Shinohara teaches you her basic and simple techniques for beautiful writing.

About Cross Cultural Workshop Tokyo
We provide workshops anyone can participate regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
As well as programs foreigners can experience Japanese culture, tradition, manners, games, and etc.,
We also organize events Japanese can come in touch with international cultures under the direction of foreign instructors. 互いの文化的価値観がクロスする時、新たな発見と気づきが生まれる、そんなワークショップを目指します。
